Founder · CEO · Radiology consultant

Thirty-plus years
of perspective, put to work.

Greg D. Smith helps radiology organizations make clearer decisions about technology, vendors, operations, billing, infrastructure, and growth.

A practical point of view

Experience across the decisions that shape a radiology organization.

Greg has spent more than three decades working across healthcare, radiology, and teleradiology. His background spans RIS/PACS, imaging technology, sales, management, operations, and the vendor relationships that keep imaging organizations moving.

He founded Experienced Radiology Consulting to give leaders a seasoned, independent perspective before they commit time, capital, and their teams to an important decision. The work can begin with a single vendor question or extend across a larger practice initiative.

Greg’s role is to listen closely, identify what matters, and connect each organization with an approach—and when appropriate, a specialist—that fits its actual needs. For security and HIPAA compliance, that specialist is Live Compliance.

What happens when you call

A first conversation is enough to start.

1

You name the decision

A PACS replacement, a storage move, a billing problem, a technology pitch that sounds better than it feels. Bring the real issue, not a polished brief.

2

Greg asks about the work

Market, sites, who reads, from where, what “slow” costs you, who supports the system at 2 a.m., and what you cannot afford to break.

3

You leave with a path

A clearer next step, the questions still worth answering, and—if the work needs a specialist—the right person in the room.
